Sustainable cleaning brand Smol has achieved B Corp certification, highlighting its ambition to be a “different” and “better” business.
Smol’s cleaning products contain minimal to no plastic in its dishwasher tablets, laundry capsules and multipurpose sprays.
Sustainably packaged and delivered direct to the door each month, the products save hundreds of thousands of water bottles’ worth of plastic and keep tonnes of chemicals from rinsing into waterways.

Co-founder Nick Green said: “When we launched back in 2018, we were determined to bring something better – better for the planet and for customers.
“Our Smol revolution against plastic was all about shaking things up, being a different kind of business.
“This certification not only is a testament to that vision, but also to becoming part of a community of like-minded businesses and innovators.”
Additionally, the cleaning brand addresses hygiene poverty through its Donate-a-Wash Scheme and Suds in Schools project; run in conjunction with the Hygiene Bank.
To date Smol and its customers have donated over 1 million washes to those experiencing hygiene poverty and installed over 50 mini laundrettes in schools across the UK.
